Why would I use the cold shot button if I am trying to dry/style my hair?
The cold shot button is a great finishing feature because it releases a shot of cool air which helps seal the hair cuticle and lock in the style.

Does it matter what speed setting I use on my dryer?
To remove additional moisture from hair after towel drying set the speed to high. When hair is almost dry, lower the speed setting and begin styling.

What type of brush should I use when I am drying my hair?
Round brushes and vent brushes are perfect for use with hair dryers because they have the vents that allow the airflow to go through the brush.
